Make the dough: combine flour and baking powder, rub in butter, add curd cheese and salt, and knead into a dough.
Chill the dough in the fridge for 1 hour.
Roll the dough to about 2 mm thickness and cut into 10 cm squares.
Place a spoonful of jam in the center of each square and fold diagonally to seal.
Brush egg white onto each pastry and place them on a baking sheet.
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Bake the pastries in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes.
Dust the pastries with sugar before serving.
